At Shorooq, we are focused and goal-oriented. We discover and support the most ambitious, disciplined and passionate entrepreneurs to help them build their dreams, from idea stage to meaningful, lasting companies.
We get heavily involved operationally, be that recruiting, market expansion, strategy, financing discussions, budget and forecasting and more to help the founders build their vision.
We focus on the future: Fintech, Platform, Software and Tech-Enabled Business Services. Prior to Shorooq’s launch in 2016, Shorooq’s Founders built their careers as investment professionals in the venture capital and private equity sectors across the UAE, Europe, NYC and Silicon Valley. The Fund benefits from the partners’ experience, expertise and resources and invests in seed-stage, technology-based startups, mostly across the GCC and the MENAT region.
